It neighbors Otay Mesa West to the north, Otay Mesa to the east, and Nestor and the Tijuana River Valley to the west. Major thoroughfares include Beyer Boulevard and San Ysidro Boulevard. They have an outlet center called Las Americas with over 125 stores and restaurants, it prides itself on being “largest fashion outlet center in San Diego.” The Kumeyaay Indians were the first known inhabitants of the Tijuana River Valley area where San Ysidro now sits.
